The Building of Locuinţe Ieftine Company
1926 Bulevardul Hristo Botev 1
Acesta este un alt imobil multietajat de locuit proiectat în cooperare cu Jean POMPILIAN (1872-1938). Blocul este situat central, în Piaţa Rosetti colţ cu Strada Hristo Botev. Poziţia de colţ nu a fost exploatată pentru o soluţie specială, acesta fiind teşit. Parterul înalt, cu mezanin, adăposteşte spaţii comerciale. Deasupra acestora se găseşte un registru de trei etaje cu ferestre generoase, care prezintă însă avarii diagonale la elementele de zidărie, tipice pentru cele seismice. Acest registru se încheie cu un etaj cu rol de cornişă, etajul IV, care face trecerea spre registrul următor, al mansardei. Decoraţia este în stil Neoromânesc.
This is another multi-story building designed in cooperation with Jean POMPILIAN (1872-1938). The apartment building is situated centrally, facing Rosetti Square corner with Hristo Botev Street. The corner position was not exploited for a special solution, this being simply cut at a 45° degree angle. The high ground floor, with mezzanine, houses commercial spaces. Above these there is a registry with three floors with generous windows, which present diagonal cracks on the masonry elements, typical for the earthquake damage patterns. This registry is closed by a floor that plays the role of cornice, the fourth upper floor, which makes the transition to the next registry, that of the mansard. The decoration is of Neo-Romanian style.
