În fapt două clădiri simetrice cuplate, vilele PAPINIU sunt dominate de cele două bovindouri simetrice care adăpostesc de fapt doar logii, nu și spații închise. Aceste două bovindouri împrumută, prin bogata lor decorație, un aer Neoromânesc intregului ansamblu, care de altfel ar putea fi considerat sobru în rest. Cartușele și traforurile decorate cu motive florale ne-ar putea duce cu gândul chiar la izvoarele Art Nouveau ale Neoromânescului, dar proporțiile coloanelor și forma arcelor de la etaj ne readuc în stilul național local.

Axul de simetrie generat de cuplarea vilelor este subliniat de pătratul definit de cele două bovindouri, care confirmă crearea unui centru vizual al fațadei principale.

Actually two adjacent symmetrical buildings, the PAPINIU villas are dominated by the two symmetrical bow-windows that actually only house two loggias, no enclosed spaces. These two bow-windows lend, through their rich decorations, a Neo-Romanian atmosphere to the entire ensemble, which could otherwise be considered sober. The cartouches and pierced tracery panels decorated with floral motifs could even make us think of the Art Nouveau origins of the Neo-Romanian style, but the proportions of the columns and the shape of the first floor arches bring us back to the local national style.

The symmetry axis generated by the joining of the villas is emphasized by the square the two bow-windows define, which confirm the creation of a visual center of the main facade.
